In the past 8 years the traffic on Foster Ave around Westminster Rd. has increased to a disturbing level. It is constant especially during rush hours and very noisy. We have had a lot of problems with illegal vehicles and motorcycles backfiring and making horrendous sounds for the past 18 months. You also have people sitting in traffic and blasting their music to a crazy degree. This is a school block and naturally gets busier right before school begins and when it lets out. We need a consistent presence from NYPD Traffic division directing traffic especially during rush hours. We need DOT to figure out a better plan for this increasingly traveled street including making it a one way street. I believe Foster Ave is a Fire Lane and should also be cleared for that critical purpose. Please help if you can. Sincerely, from a lifelong resident.
